Click Away

By Dalia Albarak

Like a sinner begging to be let into heaven,

I click my screen.

Knuckles bloody but I still haven’t learned my lesson,

I double click my screen.

May I forever click away,

Like a lover, I would never betray.

Forever faithful,

Forever astray.

Click away from the pain,

Happiness,

Love,

And years.

Click away from that joyous day,

Click till the sky is grey.

Click like it’s the only way,

Click away.
