Animal Crossing

Animal Crossing is a game that was released on April 14, 2001. During this time of quarantine and stress, any of the franchise games can pass time and bring calm into your mind. Animal Crossing is a franchise that has had several games, a few of their most popular include Animal Crossing, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Animal Crossing Pocket Camp, and their newest game Animal Crossing New Horizons. All Animal Crossing games follow the player in a village of animals. The animals are called “villagers” and in most of the games, you are the mayor or leader of the village.

Villagers play a vital role in all of the animal crossing games because you can interact with them, level up, and form a bond with these cute creatures. All the villagers are animals, and there are many different types. Here are some of my favorite villagers.

Rosie is a cute blue cat whose birthday falls on the 27th of February. Rosie is one of my favorite villagers because she is always so sweet to the player. For example, when Rosie asks you what she should gift to another villager she always tells you it’s a great idea. Even if you didn’t choose the right gift and the villager is disappointed, she reassures you by saying “Maybe we were too ahead of the trend”.

Goldie is a kind dog whose birthday falls on the 27th of December. She’s one of my favorite villagers because she is very kind and also reminds me of my neighbor’s dog. I also really love the quotes she says, such as her quote in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, where she says “I read in a book that the sun has a strange power to make people happy... Just wanted to share!”.

Isabelle is not a villager, however, I just had to add her in here. Isabelle works as the player’s secretary/assistant. Isabelle is an amazing character because she helps the player out whenever they might be confused. She is also one of my favorite characters because she happens to be a Shih Tzu, and Shih Tzus happen to be my favorite breed of dogs. Isabelle’s birthday falls on the 20th of December. Isabelle is a very friendly character and cares very much about the player. Overall, she is a great loveable character.

In conclusion, animal crossing is an amazing game that brings people joy. It is most definitely a game that will be in history.
